Natural Treatment for Neck Pain

Neck pain is a common problem among people around the world, especially those who are into stressful work and the most specific reason behind it is the stress that our neck faces. Our daily habits are also a part of reason behind neck pain, which also causes shoulder pain and muscle pain issues. Sitting for the long time facing laptop or computer, driving for long hours are common reason behind it.  An adult head weighs about 8 pounds, which is entirely supported by neck and other muscles around shoulder. Natural Treatments for Neck Pain:

Applying Rosemary Oil:  Massaging your neck with Rosemary Oil can really give some relief from neck pain and also will increase blood flow.  Applying it on the daily basis can and wrapping your neck with scarf can be an extending healing effect.

Don’t Drug: Drugs or the medicine from doctor can only heal for some period. It is better to go towards root cause of pain and healing it.

Chiropractic Session:  Chiropractic is totally natural way of treating your neck pain.  Many health organizations do recommend for this treatment. It not only relaxes your neck pain, but also can heal entire body pain issue.

Gentle Stretching of Neck Muscle:  Bend your head towards right side touching your ear to shoulder.  Then roll your head forward repeating same activity towards left. Shrug your shoulder for few seconds and release it. Do for few minutes on daily basis also during your work.

Peppermint Oil for Neck:  Peppermint is considered to be best oil because the menthol helps in giving relief from pain. Adding almond oil can be an added factor to the pain by massaging it on the painful area.

Heat Massage: Heating can bring some soothing effect on the painful area and also penetrate the muscle area.  Wrap a hot bottle with towel and keep it on your neck for few minutes. You will instantly get some relaxation.

Sleeping Position: Never sleep facing your stomach towards bed, it can give more stress to neck. Sleep on your side or back having soft pillow.

Right Sitting Adjustment:  When you sitting in front of computer or laptop, always adjust the position straight to your eye level. Also never crane your neck while talking on phone.

Giving enough rest to your neck can seriously help in getting relief from pain for long term.
